Onsite Florida Blue Center Sales and Service Consultant - Ft. Lauderdale, FL
The Florida Blue Centers are vital to achieving our market segment objectives to deliver a best-in-class customer experience, create value for the membership, drive market share and profitable growth, and deliver a differentiated experience to drive long-term retention of the membership. The Sales and Service Consultants primary responsibilities are in the servicing of existing members through issue resolution and product consulting as well as in obtaining new and renewal business. Sell health and ancillary insurance products to Florida individual consumers and small groups and Analyze prospect needs and match to BCBSF products.

Essential Functions
Qualifications
* Required Work Experience
3+ years related work experience. Experience Details: in a sales and service environment
* Required Management Experience
No supervisory/management experience required
* Required Education
High school diploma or GED
* Required Licenses and Certifications
State of Florida 2-40 license 60 Days,
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Experience using MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Internet and web-based tools
* Work flexible hours to include evenings, weekends and holidays
* Agents employed with Florida Blue are permitted to schedule appointments with Florida Blue, USAble, FCL and Health Options.
o No other health and life appointments are to be scheduled with any other company while employed with Florida Blue
* Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree in a related field Marketing
* Experience with health insurance products to include individual and group plans
* Bilingual in Spanish/English
General Physical Demands
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects. Jobs are sedentary if traversing activities are required only occasionally.

Hourly Pay Range: $20 - $33
Typical Hourly Pay Range: $20 - $25
