Job Description


Staffmark is hiring a Welder in Houston, TX for our premier client. We are in search of individuals who are passionate about welding and eager to expand their skills in an environment that fosters growth and inclusivity. As a Welder, you will be responsible for utilizing various welding techniques to fabricate piping and structures. You'll have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced professionals who are committed to supporting your success!

Pay: $25 - $30 per hour (Depending on experience)

Schedule: 1st shift, Monday - Sunday

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience
  • Understanding of SMAW, GTAW, FCAW for pipe and plate
  • Must have welding equipment
  • Steel-toes

Essential Duties:

  • Capable of welding using a range of techniques (SMAW, GTAW, FCAW as a minimum).
  • Understanding WPSs and working to the set parameters.
  • Assists fitters in setting up piping/structure according to engineering drawings.
  • Ensuring high-quality welding is conducted on all fabrication work.
  • Involved with daily morning toolbox meetings to ensure the day activities are clear and address any safety concerns/issues/topics.
