Overview

Hexagon's Autonomous Solutions division seeks a Program Manager - Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations with experience in Process Improvement Initiatives to join our organization. This role will drive synergy and efficiency across the supply chain, manufacturing, and manufacturing engineering teams, with cross-division projects and programs and oversee successful integration across various processes, teams, and tools.

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, you will work with talented Supply Chain, Production and Manufacturing Engineering teams across the Hexagon Mining and Autonomy & Positioning divisions to deliver on complex Projects.

Responsibilities

As a Program Manager - Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations, your Responsibilities include:

    Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Leadership teams to identify, analyze, scope, and prioritize improvement opportunities within Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations.
  • Manage cross-divisional process improvement projects and programs designed to drive efficiency and profitability in Operations across the divisions with a strong focus on execution
  • Enhance integration and alignment between Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Manufacturing Engineering teams from conception to institutionalization.
  • Oversee and Manage cross-division/strategic Business Operations Programs, including:
    • Stakeholder Management: Working with stakeholders to define the program structure and management strategy.
    • Program Operating Model: Defining a method of operations to ensure efficient executions of all projects and activities within the program
    • Program Execution and Delivery: Building and executing program plans to deliver best-in-class solutions that meet the business objectives
    • Reporting and Risk Management: Ensure timely and clear communication with stakeholders, including the appropriate escalation of issues
    • Ongoing Prioritization: Management and prioritization of cross-project issues to drive success
  • Implement robust reporting mechanisms to track and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs) relevant to Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and Manufacturing Engineering, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Develop and promote program and project management best practices and procedures tailored to supply chain, manufacturing, and manufacturing engineering projects' unique needs.
  • Serve as a mentor and coach other initiative leaders within the Business Operations Leadership team.
  • Collaborate with the Principal Program Manager - Process Improvements to implement consistent planning and reporting frameworks for Process Improvement initiatives.
Qualifications

Must-Have:

  • 7+ years of combined new product introduction, project management, and people management experience in a quality, engineering, supply chain, or manufacturing role in an Automotive, Electronics or high-volume manufacturing business.
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects or programs and deliver defined outcomes
  • Proven ability to motivate and inspire others to do their best work
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate project updates and key insights to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Solid understanding of project and program management methodologies, focusing on Supply Chain and Manufacturing best practices.
  • Demonstrated experience driving change initiatives and ensuring sustained improvements within Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Full working knowledge of FMEA, Control Plans, Advanced Product Quality Planning, Statistical Process Control and 8D problem-solving methodologies
  • Excellent analytical abilities, technical writing ability and comprehensive understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS), including ISO 9000 and TS-16949
  • Lean Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certifications
  • Experience with Scaled Agile frameworks
  • PMP (or comparable) designation
