Job Summary

At SuperATV we are working to WOW our customers with innovative, race-tested products and world class customer service. Currently, we have an opportunity to add a commodity manager to our global sourcing team. This important role will help continue SuperATV's growth by evaluating, selecting, and developing new suppliers both overseas and domestically. This is a global role with overseas travel and off-hours communication with our many international suppliers and the US team.

Primary Duties
  • Develop quality relationships with current suppliers, while proactively developing new suppliers.
  • Lead supplier identification, evaluation and negotiation for R&D and new products, including leading their category strategy for on grow, maintain, reduce and exit regions.
  • Successfully negotiate and develop contracts and/or supply agreements with suppliers globally to ensure acceptance of terms and conditions of purchase including compliance with international and domestic regulations.
  • Communicate with suppliers on performance improvements, cost reductions and maintenance of best-in-class quality standards.
  • Collaborate with Business Development, New Product Development, Engineering, Quality and Purchasing in managing supplier relationships and negotiations.
  • Maintain continuous in-depth knowledge of international market condition, industry trends and developing technologies related to key commodities.
  • Travel domestically and internationally to evaluate and develop suppliers.
Qualifications

Qualified candidates must have a bachelor's degree in a related field or 5 or more years of experience in global sourcing or engineering. Must have the ability to solve problems, be resourceful, and adapt to an ever-changing global business environment. This position will manage multiple projects simultaneously and report out to the team via phone, Teams, Zoom, and other communication channels.

Education / Experience

The ideal candidate would have experience in raw material metals, Aluminum and steel markets, and market index. Candidates must understand international travel and have excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
