The Pricing Information Systems Analyst will performs the design, construction, and maintenance of predictive models for the BHHC Property Casualty Insurance business. .

This position will be in Omaha, NE, and Hybrid up to 50% of the time. This position is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship.

What will you do?

  • Performs the design, construction, and maintenance of predictive models for the BHHC Property Casualty Insurance business.
  • Utilizes basic knowledge of data management and manipulation tools to compile data for modeling exercises.
  • Uses a variety of techniques, including machine learning and other predictive modeling methods to build high performance predictive models.
  • Draft documentation and written summaries of model development process when necessary.
  • Summarize and explain predictive modeling approaches and results concisely to non-technical audiences (regulators, management, other departments of company, etc.) to ensure acceptance and implementation of predictive modeling recommendations.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience
  • Personal computer statistical and database manipulation software and programming
  • Basic knowledge of database design, database management, and data assembly
  • Basic knowledge of application programming with emphasis on computationally oriented programming
  • Working level of familiarity with Microsoft SQL
  • Principles of finance, business, insurance, insurance accounting, and financial reporting
