MUST:
Experienced Events Coordinator
1+ Years of experience with Association Events
Experience with routine web based or web supported products.
Experience planning virtual and on-site events.
Experience managing, training and supporting event volunteers onsite.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office software required.
Virtual event experience is a plus.
College degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
Certified Meeting Planner (CMP) preferred

DUTIES:
Assists the Senior Director, Events and Event Managers in planning and executing all department activities; provides input to web and digital platforms supporting events.
Assists with planning and execution of department events and meetings to include coordination with speakers, attendees, sponsors, and exhibitors.
Prepares master room use matrices, room requirement forms, and associated support documents for venues and vendors.
Coordinates AV requirements, reviews orders for accuracy and ensures proper onsite set-up.
Coordinates and administers event continuing education program support.
Responsible for inventory, packing and shipment of event related supplies for travel to events.
Coordinates registration and processes payments for special programs.
Performs media input and coordination duties as assigned by the Senior Director, Events to include inputting and updating event web/app content, creating and editing event surveys, coordinating event promotional material and posting event video, audio and presentations.
Serves as primary contact for routine constituent questions, responds to email and telephone inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Directs non-routine and non-event related requests to managers, directors or other departments, as appropriate.
Provides support to Cyber and Homeland Security Committees.
Travels when required to support programs sponsored.
