Description

The Desk Clerk Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of Desk Clerks as well as assisting the Program Director, Department Head, or designated supervisor with the day-to-day administrative operations of the residence including, but not limited to, answering telephones and ordering office supplies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitors traffic through lobby and ensures that all guests check in and out of the building, show proper identification, and follow the building rules.
  • Provides accurate and timely information to supervisor on all topics and issues related to the operation of the residence. This includes, but is not limited to, correcting errors specific to your area of responsibility as they are identified.
  • Conducts periodic inspections of common areas of the building and maintains the neat and orderly appearance of the lobby.
  • Arranges Desk Clerk schedule to ensure sure there is adequate coverage.
  • Supervises Desk Clerks which includes interviewing, hiring, training, conducting supervision and evaluating performance.
  • Records staff attendance and guest attendance sheets monthly. Assists with bi-weekly timesheets for staff.
  • Assists with building matters and inspections.
  • Assists program to prepare necessary reports.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MARGINAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • May be required to work a flexible schedule, filling in for emergency coverage.
  • May be required to sort incoming and outgoing mail for department residents.
  • May be required to report any hazardous conditions or emergency situations to management. Writes up maintenance requests and sends them to the property manager.
  • Shift Time: Sundays and Mondays 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM AND Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Ability to use standard office equipment, including knowledge of computers, email, and the internet.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.
  • Current and Valid Drivers License
