Intermediate District 287 is seeking candidates for Seasonal Summer Facilities Maintenance positions located at various sites!

Position Details:

Pay rate: $19.49 per hour Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Dates: June 10, 2024 - September 27, 2024 Provide various janitorial services and facilities projects from June through September, including but not limited to: painting, deep cleaning of classrooms, moving furniture, attaching and assembling fixtures, floor work, outside maintenance, and other janitorial services as needed

Requirements:

Must possess a valid Minnesota Driver's license and be 18 years of age or older Must successfully pass a pre-employment physical and background check Ability and interest in performing physical labor in all types of weather conditions

Physical Requirement:

Must have adequate physical strength, stamina, physical agility and visual and auditory acuity and must maintain such physical fitness as to be able to perform the duties of the position A pre-employment physical examination is required
Temporary employees who return to District 287 and are returning to the same work assignment as previously served will be required to go through a pre-employment physical exam every two years.
May be required to lift moderate to heavy weights and may be exposed to significant levels of dust, heat, noise, extreme weather conditions and risk of injury from equipment and assaultive and/or abusive students
