As a Corrections Barber Instructor for the Department of Corrections, you will be responsible for the supervision of licensed barbers in a state correctional institution or facility. The responsibilities of the position involve assigning work to inmate barbers, providing management training related to barbering activities, and ensuring that operating standards required for barber shop certification are maintained. In this role, you will provide both theory and hands-on instruction while exercising therapeutic care, custody, and control over inmates.
