DMI, LLC is seeking a Technical Lead (Cloud Development) to help support our client.

As a Technical Lead at DMI, your role is to lead product development and solution modernization teams utilizing modern DevOps practices.

For our clients, you'll successfully design, develop, and modernize custom business systems. Your responsibilities will include designing and building system components, prototyping potential solutions, and integrating disparate systems while maintaining technical integrity and consistency. You'll tap into your experience across our clients' software engineering landscapes to aid in the construction of complex web-based interactive applications. You'll also establish your teams' software engineering best practices and lead code review activities to deliver professionally-built software solutions for our clients. Finally, you will look to find ways to utilize the power of the cloud and help organizations move forward in adopting agile methodologies and modern DevOps processes.

Your Responsibilities

    Leading application development and modernization efforts
  • Building SDKs and tooling for development teams across client enterprises.
  • Coding, debugging, and supporting application migrations and modernizations.
  • Designing application architecture
  • Implementing CI/CD pipelines and reducing toil within your team and for your client
  • Coaching and mentoring fellow team members.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Superb witten and oral communication skills
  • Core understanding of AWS services
  • Competency with containerization tools such as AWS EKS, ECS, Fargate, Docker, etc.
  • Experience with Github and building Github Actions and pipelines.
  • Experience in developing solutions using PaaS with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, Heroku, or similar
  • Strong experience working with JavaScript/Typescript and Python. Knowledge of web frameworks like Angular, Vue, or React is a plus.
  • Knowledge of web development technologies and tools (HTML5, CSS3, CSS frameworks, Responsive Web Design, JavaScript frameworks, etc.)
  • Proven experience writing high quality object-oriented code
  • Proficient at serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, or Azure Functions
  • Experience with monitoring and APM tools like OpenTelemetry, Grafana, Splunk, OpenObserve, or Prometheus.
  • Established experience creating RESTful web APIs using Node.js, Python, C#, and/or Java
  • Knowledge of Test-Driven Development, Unit Testing, and Clean Code
  • Proficient with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
  • In-depth understanding of CI/CD processes & tooling including CloudFormation, Code Pipeline, Git, Github Actions, Jenkins.
  • Technical leadership & Agile/Scrum team experience node.
  • Experience with service-oriented and distributed architectures based on XML, SOAP, REST, JSON, Eventing, etc.
  • Desire and willingness to be a mentor and support junior resources.

  • Consulting Experience
  • AWS Certified Developer or similar certification
  • BS or Masters in Engineering, Computer Science or related field
