OverviewCSCP Overview:Microsoft's Cloud business is experiencing explosive growth, and the Cloud Supply Chain (CSCP) organization is responsible for enabling the infrastructure underlying this growth. Our mission is to deliver the world's computer with an industry-leading supply chain. CSCP is responsible for strategic sourcing, customer demand forecasting, capacity planning and management, supply chain planning and execution, capacity provisioning, and decommissioning and dispositioning of datacenter assets worldwide Team Overview: We are looking for a Software Engineer II to help us deliver highly scalable services and world-class product experiences. In this role, you will have opportunities to work on multiple layers of the technology stack, ranging from customer-focused user experience work, building scalable distributed cloud services, working with big data, machine learning, and everything in between. If you are comfortable working in a start-up enviroment, enjoy creating and incrementally marching towards a well-defined long-term architecture, and are motivated by solving hard business process problems with technology, then this could be the position for you.
ResponsibilitiesJob Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Contribute to a high-functioning feature team. Collaborate closely with multiple teams across Microsoft to deliver key planning solutions and the technology to support them. Help contribute to the design and implementation of future architecture for a highly scalable, durable, low latency capacity planning system. Drive innovations leveraging big data, machine learning techniques and distributed systems to deliver business results. Help gather, define, cost, and implement engineering deliverables
