To enable securely scaling and distributing content to millions of users, Power BI's core service builds on top of Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Fabric & Copilots. We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer that is experienced in distributed cloud service engineers, focusing on platform scalability and security. You'll have opportunity to help define service architecture & patterns, work closely with technical experts across Azure Data, and ensure security fundamentals. As a broadly scoped role, you'll have opportunities to work across components, mentor with area experts, and make an impact on the critical systems powering the Power BI cloud service. Responsibilities Lead discussions for the architecture of products/solutions, creating proposals by testing design hypotheses and helping to refine code plans. Assure system architecture meets security and compliance requirements and expectations.Apply debugging tools and examines logs, telemetry, and other methods to verify assumptions through writing and developing code proactively before issues occur. Conduct retrospectives & debugging of solutions to identify root causes of problems.Review code to assure it meets the team's and Microsoft's quality standards, ensuring reliability and accuracy.
