About this opportunity
As a part of establishing a Smart Factory within the U.S., we are now looking for a new Product Quality Leader to join our Team!


This individual will execute E2E product and process quality leadership for the Lewisville factory site and be responsible for setting up and maintaining overall quality assurance, control processes, methods, and tools. As well as, look after the quality issues/tasks, improve performance, control risks & guarantee the factory output with the performance aligned with both, Ericsson and customer quality standards.

What you will do

  • You will be the quality owner of the whole product lifecycle management.
  • Lead a multi-functional quality improvement team to fulfill defined and established quality plans. Ensure the implementation of product quality control and quality improvement
  • Empowers the product modernization projects by putting product & process quality high on the agenda.
  • A key member of NPI\TPI projects. Define quality targets. Provide technical information, consequence analysis, and possible solutions. Also supporting with producibility, reliability, and risk management input. Providing technical recommendations in each project millstone.
  • Chairman of the US 5G SMART Factory FRAG (Fault Rate Analysis Group) and representative of US factory to external FRAG with other factories and with Product Design Unit.
  • Carrying out the continuous yield analysis, claims & repair data analysis by using vital systems & tools.
  • Create and develop customer quality support process to have a quick & good response towards customer complaints or questions.


You will bring

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering
  • 5+ years of quality management experience in manufacturing.
  • Experience in project management, preferred experience in telecommunication industry or in an electronics manufacturing environment
  • Solid working background and knowledge on quality management methods & tools (i.e. 6 Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, SPC, FMEA, etc.)
  • Solid experience in statistical analysis and data handling
  • Good communication and presentations skills.
  • Promote, understand, and strictly adhere to all safety, environmental, and quality guidelines without deviation.
  • Lead and present data analytics in an understandable way for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Initiative/Proactive ability, result-focused, critical thinking, and problem-solving ability
  • Leadership skills and team-oriented
  • Willingness to travel up to 5-10% internationally (Foreseeable future)
  • You might also have:
  • PMI certified Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE)
  • Six Sigma (Greenbelt or Blackbelt)


This role reports to the Head of Quality.
