Hourly/Non-Exempt position with direct responsibility for supervision/coordination of a house of students. Campus residency is required. Meals included while school is in session and use of on campus amenities. Duties include: Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Building a supportive and inclusive community within the residential setting
Creating and implementing dorm protocols that assist in the development of life and social skills
Enforcing school policies to ensure a safe and conducive environment consistent with program goals and expectations
Providing mentorship, guidance, and emotional support to students
Addressing any conflicts or concerns that arise among students in a timely and effective manner
Serving as a knowledgeable resource and liaison for student families
Partnering with academic team to support the ongoing academic development of assigned students
Assisting with emergency procedures and crisis management as needed
Maintaining accurate records of student interactions, incidents, and any necessary documentation
Collaborating closely with other staff members, teachers, and administrators to support the overall mission of the school
Participating in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to working with students in a residential setting.
Essential Competencies and Personal Qualities
A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university is required for this position.
