Summary:
Manages web environment design, deployment, development and maintenance activities. Also performs testing and quality assurance of web sites and web applications.
Essential Job Functions:
Administer and maintain our organization's websites, ensuring uptime, performance, and responsiveness across different devices and browsers.
Manage web servers, hosting environments, and related infrastructure, configuring and optimizing server settings for security, performance, and scalability.
Update website content, including text, images, multimedia, and other assets, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and consistency across all pages.
Monitor web security threats, vulnerabilities, and attacks, implementing security measures such as firewalls, SSL certificates, and intrusion detection systems to protect against breaches and unauthorized access.
Implement backup and recovery procedures for website data and configurations, ensuring data integrity and disaster recovery capabilities in case of system failures or data loss.
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:
Minimum Qualifications:
At least 4-6 years of current experience in the field or in a related area.
