Job Description:

Sales Operations Analyst:

This position reports to the Manager of AMER Renewals Sales Team. This person is an active participant and vocal member of a global team who will also support the delivery and execution of the Renewal Sales Operations objectives on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis. This role will require an individual who will help support driving global consistency and reporting with our business processes touching pipeline, forecasting and other business related KPI's. This person will interact directly with the salesforce, sales operations, and leadership teams daily. Long-term success in the role will be evident through the development of strong cross-functional business relationships plus a demonstrated ability in analyzing quantitative data deriving end state outcomes and supporting operational efficiencies where appropriate.

Key Responsibilities:

Be an active participant in global sales operations team to ensure its weekly tasks. Provide and support weekly reporting needs relating to opportunity, forecasting, pipeline and other business related KPIs. Help support consistency in all business practices. Own the forecasting process for your respective regions and provide readouts to business partners. Work with cross functional depts.(finance, quoting, data teams..) to ensure additional ad-hoc reporting needs are delivered. Help with monthly/quarterly hedge forecasting reporting. Supporting global efforts on yearly operational planning and targets/quota setting.

What Success will look like:

A demonstrated ability to assess trending and business markets through data analysis to draw out where we can improve our sales or operational execution. A demonstrated ability to spot operational & data gaps, taking proactive steps in identifying root causes & eventually translating into a clear actionable plans. Accuracy in work delivered and in a timely manner. Refine & catalogue the global monthly/quarterly reporting suite needs to ensure efficient downstream reporting are achieved. Support & catalogue the sales operational onboarding materials available to improve ramp time. A demonstrated ability to drive(or support) communication and awareness on any back end operational renewal changes. Help with ongoing efforts to improve the operational cost to serve outlook. Supporting finance and other cross functional teams in any data requirements and company audits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate weekly, monthly and quarterly performance reporting and analysis including opportunity, pipeline and other business-related sales metrics

  • Work with cross functional departments (finance, quoting, data teams, etc) to ensure additional ad-hoc reporting needs are delivered

  • Own the forecasting process for your respective regions and provide readouts to business partners

  • Administer, manage and report on revenue forecasting using VMware methodology and automation/forecasting tools; drive adoption of forecasting tools and dashboards within respective regions

  • Develop comprehensive pipeline reporting tools

  • Drive increased field CRM adoption and sales data consistency (i.e. "hygiene") with the sales teams, consistent with standard practices, to improve account and opportunity visibility and reporting

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. Equivalent years of experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

  • 5+ years of work experience in subscription data or analytics based role in a relatable industry

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) as well as Oracle, SAP and SFDC

  • Must be able to build custom reports and dashboards

  • Experience with working as part of a global team a definite plus

  • Experience with working in a Renewals focused department or inside sales team

  • Strong presenter with good verbal and written presentation skills

  • Confident individual with enthusiasm and aptitude to create, catalog & optimize process flow maps & reporting-suite guides

  • Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment with a hands-on approach and demonstrated ability to multi-task

Additional Job Description:

Compensation and Benefits

The annual base salary range for this position is $60,000 - $100,000.

This position is also eligible for a discretionary annual bonus in accordance with relevant plan documents, and equity in accordance with equity plan documents and equity award agreements.
