Job Summary: |
The Adult and Child Center for Health Outcomes Research and Delivery Science (ACCORDS) and the Division of Health Care Policy and Research, Department of Medicine at the University of Colorado seek a faculty member with health-related research experience and expertise in biostatistics. Candidates can be at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor. Specific areas of interest include expertise in pragmatic trials, cluster randomized trials, longitudinal data analysis, causal inference, and analysis of electronic health record data. The successful candidate will engage in collaborative research and have the opportunity to develop their own independent research. The candidate will be funded to consult with and collaborate with over 70 ACCORDS affiliated faculty and other health services researchers from the Schools of Medicine, Public Health, Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences, Dental Medicine, and the College of Nursing. They will lead or support proposals to secure external funding and contribute to our educational mission, including teaching or mentoring post-docs and faculty in the various ACCORDS sponsored fellowships and other educational programs across campus. Key Responsibilities: The successful candidate will conduct rigorous, externally-funded research that contributes to the ACCORDS's and Division's missions. The incumbent will play a role in the expansion of currently funded programs, funding acquisition in new promising areas, and help develop collaborative relationships across the Anschutz Medical Campus, as well as with external partners. This faculty position will have their academic affiliation in the Department of Medicine and will be a part of a well-established Biostatistics and Analytics Core in ACCORDS, a research center supporting the advancement of health services research and T3-T4 translational research that is jointly funded by the School of Medicine and Children's Hospital Colorado. ACCORDS serves as the focal point for health care professionals, researchers, and analysts from across the Anschutz Medical Campus to foster multidisciplinary collaborations that bring together our campus' diverse skills and talents to pursue health services research and education. In addition, ACCORDS cultivates strong research and educational collaborations with the Colorado School of Public Health, Denver Health, Kaiser Permanente Colorado, UCHealth, other health care delivery systems, community organizations, and state and local government agencies. ACCORDS has methodological cores in Biostatistics and Analytics, Economic Analysis, Learning Health Systems, Mobile Health and Informatics, Pragmatic Research and Trials, and Qualitative and Mixed Methods; as well as programs in Dissemination and Implementation Science, Patient-Centered Decision Making, Education, and Community Engagement and Outreach. Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE: $110,000 - $130,000 annually at Assistant Professor $130,000 - $160,000 annually at Associate Professor The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.
