Job Summary: |
The Collective Human Resource Units Program Director provides oversight, strategy, and leadership for the School of Medicine's HR Shared Services (HRSS), Workforce Development, and recruiting functions within the School of Medicine's (SOM) Dean's Office HR team. The HRSS team currently serves 30 departments and provides consulting, transactional, and HR generalist support for the departments served. Established in 2017, HRSS has been assisting departments with their HR needs for several years as well as expanding its services to better meet the needs of SOM departments and units. The Collective HR Units Program Director will strategically develop, implement, and oversee all people-related functions and policies for HRSS functions, as well as provide guidance and direction on workforce development, and create new programs and services to provide for SOM units. The Collective HR Units Program Director will create new and update current processes and policies that improve efficiencies to meet the needs of the department. The Collective HR Units Program Director must remain current on policies and procedures for the above tasks and ensure compliance with all department, University, CU Medicine, State, and Federal guidelines. The individual in this position will provide training, education, and advice to leadership related to staff and faculty employment and compliance including documentation and initiation of discipline and discharge procedures, and work in concert with University, Hospital, and CU Medicine human resources. The individual in this position will provide guidance and assistance in personnel issues in conjunction with the Associate Director of HR and the HR Director of the School of Medicine. Anticipated Pay Range: |
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as $93,102 to $124,000. The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
