Old National Bank is seeking a results-driven and highly experienced Community Banking Executive (CBE) to lead our Tennessee retail banking centers. This is a dynamic market with extraordinary opportunity for growth and expansion; the Executive will lead Tennessee's retail branches into the future.

Overseeing more than twenty banking centers, the Executive will also be a key member of the Tennessee Market Leadership Team with an opportunity to foster new and existing client relationships and create community impact across ONB lines of business. The Executive will succeed through their deep market knowledge, product and service expertise, superior sales and operational leadership, and ability to engage the hearts and minds of team members.

Key Accountabilities

Leads with Purpose

    Drives the success of the Tennessee market through their span of 150+ direct and indirect reports
  • Motivates the retail team to encourage clients' utilization of emerging banking technology and digital solutions
  • Leads the continuous improvement, growth, and development of team members to ensure outstanding performance and strong succession planning for the future
  • Is a present and visible leader who ensures team members understand the "why" behind decisions

Achieves Results

  • Finds new opportunities to acquire clients and deepen existing client relationships based on competitive market insights and extensive industry knowledge
  • Role models a consultative sales approach to align client needs to our robust product and service suite
  • Encourages targeted community outreach and inspires proactive community involvement
  • Optimizes retail banking center performance utilizing data, metrics and corporate reporting

Ensures Operational Excellence

  • Ensures adherence to all consumer banking laws, regulations, procedures and service standards
  • Guides managers to align business and people needs, including training, staffing, and performance
  • Coaches managers to succeed while adhering to ethical standards and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Five to ten years of job-specific banking experience
  • Five to ten years of managerial and leadership experience, preferably in retail banking
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively across different business areas
  • Proven ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with senior management
  • Proven ability to work within a chain of command environment across several divisions
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with various office applications and software packages

Key Measures of Success/Key Deliverables

  • The Tennessee market meets or exceeds all goals including production, referrals, client experience, existing portfolio growth and new relationship acquisition
  • The Tennessee market adheres to all regulatory, process and compliance requirements, ensuring a safe and efficient environment in all locations
  • Engagement and retention of Tennessee team members
