As the Engineer, Monitoring & Diagnostics, you'll be at the forefront of building predictive equipment condition models, analyzing real-time data, and engaging stakeholders to ensure the program aligns with our cooperative's mission and vision.

What You'll Be doing:

  • Manage M&D software and databases like PI, Azure Databricks, and other Performance Modeling software packages
  • Troubleshoot data reliability issues and coordinate with stakeholders for resolution.
  • Lead small to mid-size projects to enhance data reliability and instrumentation
  • Identify equipment anomalies and investigate issues for resolution
  • Maintain models and develop machine learning models for value-add and provide visualizations and dashboards for decision-making
  • Perform data-driven troubleshooting for engineering issues and equipment condition snapshots and monitor post-maintenance evolution
  • Keep Power Production leadership informed through regular reporting

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or applied science, or equivalent work or military experience
  • Experience with data analytics and visualization software (e.g, Excel, Azure DataBricks, Power BI) and at least one commonly used statistical programming language (e.g, R, Python, SQL) preferred
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Interpret technical documents, blueprints & schematics
  • Ability to lead, work and communicate with others effectively as a part of a team
  • Experience in power plant operations and/or maintenance preferred, but not required
