Your Role: Connecting exceptional talent with opportunities at our exciting projects

The Human Resource Operations Specialist - Craft Recruiter plays a crucial role in various functional areas, including recruiting and staffing, pre-employment processes, new hire orientation, and onboarding.

In Webber's Infrastructure Management business, your primary focus will be recruiting field personnel for roles related to road maintenance, bridge, and tunnel maintenance and large-scale lawncare services.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the selection and hiring process, including recruitment, interviews, offers, pre-employment processes, and onboarding.
  • Research and grow market pipelines, community resources, and new efforts to support business growth in the US and Canada.
  • Source qualified talent using innovative methods and tools like Indeed and LinkedIn.
  • Research and implement new recruitment strategies across industries.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities and ensure completion of necessary paperwork.
  • Work with HR Business Partner and Talent Acquisition Manager.
  • Support policy education and enforcement.
  • Assist with HRIS data management and benefits administration.
  • Compile reports.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee records.
  • Provide HR support for new project mobilizations.

Who You Are: A Profile of Success

  • 3-5 years of HR or related experience, recruiting craft and skilled trades experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Effective communication with applicants and co-workers.
  • Flexible and able to multitask.
  • Strong negotiation skills.
