Managing supervisors, employees and resources across different shifts, you will direct the implementation of tactical business plans, programs and projects, while also delivering solutions that drive continuous process improvement all to ensure delivery of the right product to the right place at the right price.

  • Principle Duties / Responsibilities:
    • Responsible for safely managing daily Inbound LC Operations, focusing on the Receiving, Put away, Kitting/Labeling, and Returns that feed downstream operational activities such as Inventory Control and Outbound Operations.
    • Implements and administers all systems and processes for maintaining control of receiving inventory and transaction accuracy; storage/put away methods and facilities; in-transit reports/inbound tracking and non-conforming material; and housekeeping and GMP compliance.
    • Enforces the implementation of and use of SAP and its accuracy. Coach warehouse team on SAP and SAP process improvements.
    • The manager will participate in regulatory and internal quality inspections and will be responsible for all issues related to warehouse operations and CAPA responses as required.
    • Coaches and develops team members through goal setting and performance accountability and maintaining routine 1:1's with staff
    • Establishes and maintains Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) according to goals set for the site
    • Writes and reviews reports, protocols, work instructions, and procedures and prepares same upon request of senior leadership.
    • Generates department analytics utilizing Spotfire dashboards
    • Supports a high level of finished goods inventory system accuracy through accurate receiving and put away activities using warehouse management software (SAP WM).
    • Manages receipt and flow of inbound materials within the operation to support quality control standards and productivity requirements.
    • Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
    • Establish and support a work environment of continuous improvement that supports the companies Quality policy, Quality System & the appropriate regulations for the area.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional groups including Human Resources, Production/Controllers, Maintenance, Safety/WPS, Quality Assurance, Sales, Order Management/Customer Service and Finance to meet business objectives and customer satisfaction.
    • Follows policies and procedures; completes administrative tasks correctly and on time; supports organization's goals and values.
    • Prioritizes and plans work activities; uses time efficiently; sets goals and objectives; organizes or schedules other people and their tasks.
    • Develops and implements plans for facility modification or expansion, such as equipment purchases or changes in space allocation and warehouse design.
    • Other duties as assigned.

Generally, works in an office setting under desirable conditions with few or no disagreeable features; however, may be required to perform duties in the warehouse which require the ability to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally. May be required to, push, and pull up to 125 lbs. frequently. Will have extended hours sitting and or walking. Will require standing, and occasional climbing stairs or ladders. Some domestic and international travel may be required.


Qualifications
  • Job Requirements/Qualifications:
    • Bachelor of Science, from an accredited institution, in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or closely related discipline
    • 10+ years' leadership experience that includes an in-depth understanding of Logistics warehouse/distribution operations, purchasing, inventory management and strong understanding of WMS systems, SAP WM and RF technology experience highly desired
    • Transformational leadership capabilities to be able to drive cultural changes in a dynamic environment utilizing the Agilent Values
    • Experience managing critical projects required
    • Must possess analytical skills to include communication (verbal and written), critical thinking, research, and problem solving with excellent attention to detail
    • Must have expert level capabilities to manage data analytics in tools such as Excel, BI, Click Sense, etc.
    • Must have demonstrated capability of consistently and continuously generating value and savings in Logistics processes and operations utilizing continuous improvement/lean six sigma methodologies.
    • Ability to manage, lead, motivate and organize a diverse, cross-functional team with constantly changing demands.
    • Ability to develop business relationships with internal and external customers and key stakeholders.
    • Must have the ability to balance and prioritize multiple assignments and meet established deadlines.
    • Ability to use a forklift and related warehouse equipment.
