What You Need:
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Data Science, or Sustainability preferred
  • Minimum 2+ years of professional experience in data management and reporting and/or data analytics. Financial analysis and modeling experience is preferred.
  • High level of proficiency in data analysis and data management tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, Power BI) with attention to detail and a dedication to data accuracy.
  • Strong project management and time management skills to execute on multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
About the Job:
The Sustainability Analyst will collect, analyze, report, and track environmental metrics for PDI's Sustainability Solutions business unit, and will play a key role in helping shape and drive strategy.
You will work closely with the Director of Operations and Carbon, and the Head of Sustainability to effectively manage insights and deliverables, as well as support monitoring policy and the regulatory environment. You will own data management and data operations for Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions collection and reporting for PDI and for PDI's Sustainability Solutions customers. This role will require heavy analysis, accuracy, and attention to detail as you'll work with the Sustainability Solutions team to develop and strengthen the operational processes to support internal and external reporting.

What You'll Do:
  • Oversee all aspects of data processing, management, quality assurance, and reporting for PDI Sustainability Solutions and its clients as the subject matter expert.
  • Perform all emissions accounting and reporting (Scope 1, 2, and 3) for PDI and its clients in accordance with industry best practices and applicable GHG Protocols.
  • Serve as account manager for all carbon, renewable energy, and other environmental credit markets and registries ensuring all offsetting requirements are fulfilled.
  • Define data requirements for new client onboardings by working closely with both the client and the internal business development teams.
  • Develop expertise on each client's individual business data needs and identify ways to create and deliver value-add analyses.
