Job Description:

The Specialist II, Copywriter collaborates with sales and marketing teams to plan, research, create accurate and engaging copy that connects our brand story with our desired audience to drive action.

  • Provides drafting and editing support for marketing materials, emails, and online and print advertising.
  • Writes copy for promotional literature, marketing collateral, media advertising, websites, and internal and external publications designed to boost brand awareness and increase sales.
  • Identifies target audiences through collaborative meetings and discussions with internal and external subject matter experts (SMEs), online searches, and interviews.
  • Assists with marketing content for a variety of topics and formats such as technical, regulatory, medical specialties, products, and services.
  • Proofreads, edits and fact-checks marketing communications prior to publication to ensure the quality meets corporate standards related to brand style, message, and theme.

Education Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, English, communications, creative writing, rhetoric, or related discipline.
  • Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.

Experience Required:
  • 2+ years professional copywriting experience with solid portfolio of work.
  • Experience in the healthcare and/or software industry.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of:Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and project management tools such as Asana.
  • Skill in:Research, writing, copy editing, proofreading, SEO skills, communication (written, verbal), strategic and conceptual thinking skills. establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
  • Ability to:Write compelling, clear, error-free copy. Organize, prioritize workload and multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment to meet organizational needs, deadlines, and timelines.
