Firetrace, a subsidiary of Halma plc, and a global manufacturer of life-saving fire suppression devices, has an immediate need for a Business Development Manager—Wind Segment. This position can be remote – achieved from anywhere in North America.
The BDM will be an essential contributor to the success of the Wind segment, currently targeted to be the highest growth segment at Firetrace. This position is responsible for refining and executing sales strategy for end users in the global wind market. Growth to be achieved by initiating and developing end user relationships, and to support pull through opportunities with OEM’s.
Goals and Objectives
Achieve annual gross margin, revenue, and order intake targets with assigned customers and developed prospects in designated sub-segments within Wind Segment. Contribute to segment achievement of overall gross margin, revenue and intake targets. Participate in the development of new business opportunities using the stage-gate process.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Initiate a full spectrum process to effectively assess, filter, then convert qualified incoming end user leads into sales.
Qualifications:
Future global expansion in this segment could lead to overseas relocation opportunities.
