Job Description
This position supports our aerospace and government customers and our operations team our Scottsdale, AZ facility.  The selected candidate will be customer focused, have program management knowledge, act as the focal point for customer communication and interface, and execute sales order management.

Relationships & Roles:
  • Works directly with the customers, Program Manager Quality Manager and Operations Manager to facilitate accurate order entry, request for quote (RFQ) process and returned merchandise authorizations (RMA) process
  • Works directly with the Shipping Dept. to ensure accuracy and on time delivery
  • Works directly with the Production Planners to accurately convey build plans/scheduling
  • Works directly with third party compliance vendors (ie: Intertek) to facilitate export compliance
Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
  • Maintains customer files (digital and hard copy) and manages order entry and order maintenance
  • Proficient with the use of customer’s portals
  • Maintain relationships and favorable contacts with current and potential customers
  • Coordinate all RMA/load RMA's into tracking system, track process, coordinate with customer to resolve issues
  • Manage, track and facilitate customer requests for quotes process
  • Assist in maintaining and updating customer forecasts
  • Able to work in a team environment with dynamic demands
  • Point of contact for customer, coordinates resolution of all customer satisfaction issues
  • Proactively manages the customer in relation to delivery schedules
  • Proactively identify and realize additional revenue generation opportunities in DIBBS and FedBizOps
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization
  • Ability to prioritize, and work independently in fast paced, high pressure environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills,
  • Solid computer skills including email etiquette and experience with Word and Excel
  • Maintains safety and quality standards always
Job Specifications (skills and experience):
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Associate’s degree required but 2+ years of pertinent military experience may be substituted
  • Must have an interest in operational equipment and be able to converse intelligently with end users regarding their use. Experience with DOD operational equipment and/or procurement  and sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office, ERP systems (GP/SAP/etc), and shipping applications
  • Must be a competitive, challenge-oriented self-starter, process/procedure driven with ability to meet deadlines
  • Must be detail-oriented with ability to navigate and question the contents of large dollar government contracts
  • Computer experience including Microsoft office, MRP/ERP, and shipping applications
  • Travel Time: Occasional off-site training at a Phoenix Metro location
  • Physical demands: ability to lift  25lbs, ability to sit for extended periods
