DirectAIR is looking for a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Arlington, TX!

What You’ll Do:  ​
  • Diagnose and Troubleshoot: Conduct thorough diagnostics and provide detailed failure analysis and equipment/system recommendations to improve reliability and/or performance. 
  • Repair and Maintain: Perform repairs, overhauls, and routine maintenance on air compressors, pumps, gearboxes, and related rotating equipment. 
  • Testing and Quality Control: Verify the functionality and efficiency of repaired compressors by conducting tests and quality control checks. 
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and other relevant information. 
  • Parts Sourcing: Identify and source replacement parts as needed, ensuring timely availability. 
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards to guarantee a safe working environment. 
  • Customer Service: Communicate effectively with clients to explain repair processes, provide estimates, and address any questions or concerns. 
  • Travel: Maintain a service vehicle with proper equipment, tools, and parts to promote efficient, factory-approved methods for servicing equipment.  
  • Other duties may be assigned.   
  
What You’ll Need:  
  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in maintenance preferred.
  • 1+ year of proven multi-craft and/or previous maintenance technician experience year, with experience as a Compressor Technician highly preferred. 
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols; technically knowledgeable, conscientious, detail-oriented with excellent customer service skills.  
  • Valid Driver’s License and must be able to complete a drug test (Including a DISA drug test) and background check.  
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; flexibility to work on-call and overtime as needed. 
  • Ability and willingness to travel within the Region to customer locations.
