This 10-week internship will be located in Chicago



What Are Your Responsibilities?



  • Assists in the examination and evaluation of the adequacy and effectiveness of internal controls and the quality of performance in carrying out assigned responsibilities.

  • Assists in the recommendation of corrective actions and suggestions for improvements to operations and reductions in cost.

  • Keep the audit lead or manager informed of pertinent developments within areas of assigned responsibilities and perform special projects as required or requested.



What Do You Need To Be Successful?



  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to handle multiple projects and to make independent judgments

  • Research skills

  • Possess critical thinking, organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Access

  • Previous internship experience preferred



What Are the Requirements You Must Meet?



  • Currently pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Systems

  • Knowledge in auditing concepts

  • Graduation date between December 2018 - June 2019

  • A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0

  • Availability to work 10 weeks during the summer

  • Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States (at this time, we are not offering this program under OPT or CPT or sponsoring work visas for these roles)
